Amber Saunders is a BAFTA award winining London-based film editor working in film, with experience in narrative and documentary storytelling. Her work is defined by a strong instinct for rhythm, performance and emotional pacing, with a raw, character-driven sensibility.
She edited the BAFTA-winning short documentary The Black Cop (Best British Short Film, 2022), and has received nominations for the BFE Chris Crookall Award for Breakthrough Editor and Best Editing at the British Short Film Awards.
Alongside long-form work, Amber has an extensive background in high-end commercials and has judged the AICP Awards in New York (three times), Shots Awards, Clio Awards, and Young Arrows. She is passionate about mentorship and participated in the Creative Mentoring Network 2024/2025.
Amber is a member of BAFTA Connect and the British Film Editors (BFE), and is actively focused on expanding her slate of film and television projects.
